CNML 8

CNML 6 is a 30-minute Contest consisting of 30 math problem solving questions. This is a multiple-choice contest, and the contestants may use a calculator in the contest.

Note: Contestants will be invited to write the contest after school. Parents are required to sign the consent form to attest to the fact that the day school the student attends is NOT participating in the contest he or she is taking with Spirit of Math Schools. The consent form is available at any Spirit of Math Schools campuses.

1. My child's day school also offer this contest, who should I register with?  

    You have to register with your school. 

2. I don't yet know whether my child's day school offers this contest or not. Can I register now and ask for a refund later if his/her day school does offer?

    Unfortunately, the registration fee is non-refundable. However, your child can only write this contest once.  

3. Can I sign my child up for contests that are above their current grade school grade level?

    Yes. However, you cannot sign up for lower grade contests.

4. Are calculators permitted?

     Calculators are permitted for grades 5 and up.

    To help prepare you for this contest, please take the opportunity to solve and review some of the practice tests that have been given in the past. You are encouraged to discuss any questions that you find difficult with your SMS teacher outside class hours.
